Delphini® Platform — Keyword Alerting

Real-Time Keyword Alerts on Live Radio Traffic

The moment a critical word or phrase is spoken over radio, Delphini® fires an alert. Configured to your terminology — officer down, shots fired, lockdown, weapons, suspicious package — so the right people know instantly, not eventually.

Live Alert in Action

This is what a keyword alert looks like in practice

How Keyword Alerting Works

Configured to your terminology. Delivered in under two seconds.

Keyword Alerting sits on top of Delphini®'s AI Transcription layer. The moment a transmission is transcribed, every word is matched against your agency's keyword dictionaries — instantly and continuously, across every monitored channel simultaneously.

When a match is found, an alert fires with the transcription context, source channel, unit identifier, and timestamp. Alerts reach supervisors via the Delphini® dashboard and mobile app — typically within two seconds of the transmission.

  • Agency-configured keyword and phrase dictionaries
  • Multi-channel simultaneous monitoring
  • <2 second alert latency
  • Alert with full transcription context

Agency-Configurable

No two agencies alert on the same words

Every keyword is defined and managed by your agency to match your own operational language — whether you run 10-codes, plain-language signals, or a mix of both. Delphini® triggers the right notification, to the right person, the moment it matters. Alerts are role-based and talkgroup-specific, so the right people are alerted to critical language from the right channels — without the alert fatigue that comes from broadcasting everything to everyone.

Officer Safety

Shots fired, officer down, 10-33, emergency traffic, assistance needed, gun, weapon, knife, fleeing suspect.

Threat Language

Bomb threat, suspicious package, active threat, lockdown, shelter in place, hazmat, chemical, explosion.

Incident Escalation

Mass casualty, major crash, structure fire, requesting command, all units respond, multi-car, fatality.

Agency-Specific Codes

Any local code system, numeric or phonetic — Signal 4, Code 3, 10-78, Signal 13, Adam 21. Configured by your supervisors.

Use Cases

How teams put Keyword Alerting to work

Supervisors monitoring multiple talkgroups or channels cannot listen to everything simultaneously. Keyword alerts act as an automatic triage layer — surfacing the transmissions that warrant immediate attention while letting routine traffic pass without interruption.
Real-Time Crime Centers configure Delphini® keyword alerts for officer safety language — shots fired, officer down, emergency traffic — across jurisdictional police channels. Analysts receive alerts with full context and can immediately pull related camera feeds, mapping, or unit resources.
School safety teams and public safety dispatch centers alert on active threat language — lockdown, gunshot, shooter, intruder — across school security and public safety radio channels. Delphini® provides near-instant awareness when threat language is spoken.
RTCCs and special operations units can configure keyword dictionaries around drug activity, gang identifiers, and known intelligence terminology — helping analysts monitor for relevant activity without listening to hours of routine patrol traffic.
Keyword alerts can be configured to flag calls for quality assurance review — not just safety threats, but compliance language, complaint-triggering phrases, or supervisor concern indicators. This allows targeted QA/QI review without manual audit of every recorded call.
