MANASSAS, VA — Smart Response Technologies is proud to announce it has been selected as a winner of the IGNITE Startup Grant program. The award was revealed by Prince William Board of County Supervisors Chair Deshundra Jefferson at the annual Make Your Mark Business Community Celebration, held at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Woodbridge, Virginia. SRT received $100,000 in funding through the program.

The IGNITE program is pivotal for scaling startups and high-growth businesses, providing vital education, funding, and networking opportunities. Initially funded through the CARES Act in 2020, the program distributed $600,000 in grants during 2021–2022 and relaunched in 2023 with ARPA funding, featuring updated award categories designed to support the next generation of high-impact businesses in Prince William County.

Headquartered in Manassas, Virginia, Smart Response Technologies developed Delphini® — a cloud-based AI platform for first responders that uses patented real-time AI to deliver live radio and 911 call transcription and keyword alerting, aimed at eliminating miscommunication in high-stakes public safety environments. The IGNITE grant will support the continued scaling of Delphini® across PSAPs, real-time crime centers, and multi-agency coordination centers nationwide.

Other 2024 IGNITE grant winners included The Spaceport Company and Polaris Genomics.
